I wanted to install the GTA IV Hud mod which requires ASI Loader. I installed both, and the Hud is not changing in-game. I tried everything until I gave up on it. Today, I wanted to install a sounds pack and decided to use Mod Loader to do the work for me. Mod Loader requires ASI Loader too. And guess what? Mod Loader didn't work.

I came to an assumption that ASI Loader is the problem. Auralia 3 Student Edition Serial. I tried many solutions - turned on Data Execution Prevention (DEP) and made an exception for gta_sa.exe, reinstalled the game, ran the game in administrator rights. Negative results. If anyone is out there willing to help a fellow player out, please do so.

I even double-checked everything. First I installed Silent's ASI Loader, then I installed GTA IV HUD. I noticed that the mod comes with the vorbis dll's included already, so I had to replace the ASI Loader ones, as I was expecting that the mod already has an ASI Loader ready for you. As that didn't work, I tried keeping the ASI Loader DLL's and installing the mod without replacing the DLL's that the mod gave you - and added the rest of the files. I swear it has something to do with these Windows updates, because it was working fine before they updated. Something is blocking the ASI Loader and I have no idea what is it. An antivirus software can block ASI mods.
