Well, my fears of problems installing in a second system fortunately were unfounded. I was able to install Ozone 5 on Win 8.1 and 'register' it in Win 8.1 and it did not affect my Win 7 production system. I haven't done anything other than open an existing project but all the other plug ins and Ozone 5 appear to be working OK. I get the same number of plugins when Sonar scans in both Win 7 and Win 8.1. I'll test further before fully migrating to Windows 8.1, I just stopped for a break and will get back to fixing some instrument parts on one song and then the final mixdown. Nov 08, 2013 Izotope Ozone 5 on Windows 8.1? I've been considering moving from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 for Sonar. X3c runs fine on 8.1, on the testing I've done so far, as does all of my hardware. I wanted to install Ozone 5 on 8.1 for testing and contacted Izotope about installing it for validation testing. Their response was 'buy. In order to patch the dll's that aren't working this is what you need to replace with the files in the folder 'iZotope_Ozone_Advanced_v8_00 FiX'.
