Hi ppl, I am having trouble installing custom maps for company of heroes, i have done search and did everything but no success. I am installing new maps as folders in this location: F: Company of Heroes WW2 Scenarios MP and also without folders and extracting all files in MP folder but no success. Thanks for any help, i am becoming very frustrated. I'm not very good at comp stuff and had a lot of trouble downloading CoH maps, but maybe this might help. Btw, have you downloaded any maps besides Winners? At first I was downloading to My Documents/My Games/CoH.etc. This didn't work. I had to go to Start -->My Computer and download to Local Disc C:/Program Files/THQ/Company of Heroes/WW2/Data/Scenarios/MP. All map files must end up in MP (I think).

Some maps (if not all) come in compressed and must be unzipped. For rar files, I had to download software (WinRAR). I think I'm still on a trial period for WinRAR and expect to be asked to pay for it at some point. As I understand it, for any map made after a particular patch has been offered and downloaded by the mapmaker, you must have that patch to download that map. Consequently, I would think you're OK there. There's a new patch (2.101) since 1.71, which I think, among other things, allows you to play online without having the new expansion Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.
